William Bennet Sexton is a major one-off character in the 1988 NBC sitcom Empty Nest. He is a lifelong patient of Harry Weston's, having been going to him for his entire childhood.

Bill makes his only appearance in the Season 1 finale "A Life in the Day". He is portrayed by Billy O'Sullivan as a five year-old, Aeryk Egan as an eleven year-old, Stephen Dorff at fourteen years old, and Matthew Perry at eighteen years old.

Personality and Characteristics[]

As a little boy, he had an imaginary friend named Curtis, and he believed that girls would give people cooties. He held this belief so strongly that when a female classmate touched his head at recess, he faked a stomachache to go see Harry and find a cure for his cooties.
