The Mentor is the sixteenth episode of the third season of Empty Nest and the sixty-second episode overall. Directed by Steve Zuckerman and written by Arnie Kogen, it premiered on NBC-TV on February 2nd, 1991.
Harry's mentor Leo Brewster returns to the hospital after being away, but a member of the board approaches Harry and tells him that they want to get rid of Leo. Harry thinks they're doing this because of his age, but when he discovers that Leo is making serious mistakes, he must ask the man to step down -- lest the administration do it for him.
