The Man That Got Away is the fifteenth episode of the third season of Empty Nest and the sixty-first episode overall. Directed by Steve Zuckerman and written by Susan Beavers and Doug Smart, it premiered on NBC-TV on January 26th, 1991.

Summary[]

Barbara tries to date a man named Fred, who has no interest in her whatsoever. Laverne must cast a tiebreaking vote as to whether her hometown should install a traffic signal at its sole intersection.
