Take My Mom, Please is the twenty-second episode of the second season of Empty Nest and the forty-fourth episode overall. Directed by Steve Zuckerman and written by Harold Kimmel, David Tyron King. Rob LaZebnik and David Sacks, it premiered on NBC-TV on March 24th, 1990.
A young patient tries to set Harry up with her mother. When the date doesn't go as well as she hopes, she tries to convince each that the other has told her how wonderful it was. Barbara takes over the housekeeping while Carol is working overtime at the library, and reduces the house to such shambles that they decide to hire a maid.
