Sucking Up Is Hard to Do is the fourteenth episode of the third season of Empty Nest and the sixtieth episode overall. Directed by Steve Zuckerman and written by Pat Dougherty, it premiered on NBC-TV on January 19th, 1991.

Summary[]

Carol advises Barbara to suck up to her boss for a promotion, but she learns about sucking up the hard way. Harry advises a young evangelist to stop preaching for the good of his health. Laverne tries her hand at matchmaking for Harry, and Charley gets a tattoo.
