Strange Bedfellows is the fourteenth episode of the first season of Empty Nest and the fourteenth episode overall. Directed by Hal Cooper and written by David Tyron King, it premiered on NBC-TV on February 4th, 1989.
Carol falls in love with Eric, a handsome South American freedom fighter campaigning for the freedom of a small country called San Rojas. When Eric announces he's flying to South America to take the fight to San Rojas, Carol decides to go with him. Jeffrey Millstein falls in love with Laverne and repeatedly attempts to win her affection.
