Sondra Marie Currie made a guest appearance on The Golden Girls as Margaret Spencer-Hollingsworth, the new young wife of Curtis Hollingsworth, Blanche's father, in the Season 2 episode titled "Big Daddy's Little Lady".

Career[]

Sondra has had numerous film roles and also has made many guest appearances on many TV shows in a television acting career which streches back to the 1970's; her credits on TV include Barnaby Jones, Starsky and Hutch, Three's Company, Sanford, Simon & Simon, Knight Rider, Magnum, P.I., 7th Heaven, JAG, Touched by an Angel, ER and the CBS-TV daytime soap opera The Bold & the Beautiful.

Sondra is the daughter of actress Marie Harmon, who made several movies in the 1940s [1] and the sister of the twin singers Cherie Currie (of The Runaways fame) and Marie Currie. She began her acting career in several B movies and landed her first role was in the 1970 western movie Rio Lobo, even though she was not credited for it. She got her first major role as Lacy Bond in 1974's action movie Policewomen. It was on the set of this film that she met her future husband Tony Young, whom she was married to until 1986.

In the late-1970s, she met Alan J. Levi while auditioning for a movie. They fell in love and married in 1989. They have a production company called Lumina Pictures and Entertainment LTD which has produced several plays including 1987's The Chesterfield Woman.

Sondra is a member of Women in Film, Women in Theatre, and the Environmental Media Association One of her most rewarding endeavors is being a member of SHARE[2][3] She is a Lifetime member of the Actors Studio.
