Mad About the Boy is the sixth episode of the third season of Empty Nest and the fifty-second episode overall. Directed by Steve Zuckerman and written by Pat Dougherty, it premiered on NBC-TV on October 27th, 1990.
After being dumped yet again, Carol flips out and falls for the first man she can find -- an oddball who passes out cheese samples at the mall. Laverne decides to spice up the biography on Harry for the hospital newsletter.
When Dr. Pilson and Harry are pantomiming the sword duel, Pilson pretends to stab Harry and yells "Touché!" "Touché" is a French word meaning "touched", but in fencing the phrase is always said by the opponent who has been struck, not by the opponent striking.
