"It's like we say in St. Olaf, Christmas without fruitcake is like St. Sigmund's Day without the headless boy." This article is incomplete. You can help the Golden Girls Wiki by expanding it. |
Jeremy is a major one-off character in the 1985 NBC sitcom The Golden Girls. He is the emotionally abusive ex-fiancé of Blanche Devereaux's daughter Rebecca.
He was downright mean by doing nothing but insult. Blanche even told Dorothy, Rose, and Sophia that she wanted to pour hot coffee down his pants, while Dorothy lost her temper because of Jeremy's insults. Blanche tries to talk to Rebecca about Jeremy, but Rebecca takes it the wrong way, thinking that her mother is trying to tell her what to do with her life. On the way to the airport, Rebecca realized that her mother was right and she dumped Jeremy.
