Harry Snubs Laverne is the second episode of the second season of Empty Nest and the twenty-fourth episode overall. Directed by Steve Zuckerman and written by Pat Dougherty, it premiered on NBC-TV on October 14th, 1989.
When Harry is inducted into the center's Hall of Fame, Laverne is upset when he doesn't mention her in his awards acceptance speech. Two elementary school patients decide they are in love and disagree with Harry's efforts to treat their lovesickness. Charley begs to be allowed to be buried with the Westons.
Phoebe, the young girl Harry helps to mend Casey's young relationship, is played by Ariana Richards. Richards went on to play Lex in the critically-acclaimed Jurassic Park.
