Elliot was previously married to an unnamed woman, but they divorced some time before the events of "The Triangle". He moved to Miami recently.
Dating Dorothy[]
Elliot went to Blanche Devereaux's home to make a house call for Sophia Petrillo, whose previous doctor had passed away. Dorothy asked him out after he examined Sophia, and Elliot accepted. Blanche then entered the room and tried to make a pass at Elliot, only for Dorothy to stop her.
Two weeks later, Elliot came to pick Dorothy up for a date and made a pass at Blanche while Dorothy was getting ready. Blanche rejects his advances and tells Dorothy when she comes back from the date, but Dorothy doesn't believe her. When Dorothy and Blanche confront him the next day, Elliot denied the accusations.
Dorothy didn't believe her, saying that she only wants to steal him from her and ends up in a feud. Rose made him admit that he made a pass at Blanche, and Dorothy, who overheard this, finally knows the truth and breaks up with him.
