Between a Cop and a Hard Place is the fourth episode of the second season of Empty Nest and the twenty-sixth episode overall. Directed by Steve Zuckerman and written by Neil Alan Levy, it premiered on NBC-TV on October 28th, 1989.

Summary[]

Barbara gets a new partner named Joe, and he quickly hits it off with Carol. When Barbara learns that Joe is seeing other women behind Carol's back, she must tell her sister the truth.
